EXERCISE WITHOUT
THE NONSENSE
In the wake of burnout, the nervous system often remains stuck in a state of high alert or total exhaustion. Strategic movement types act as a bridge, helping to regulate your internal rhythm without hurting your progress. I divided exercises into two broad categories (Rehab and Strength). All exercise is healthy, but not all exercise is strategized to meet your needs. Consolidate your efforts starting now.Â
Consistent Muscle Training
Movement is not just a physical act; it is body's engine that burns through stored energy and a metabolic signal that reassures the nervous system. When we experience burnout, our bodies are locked in a state of high-alert, characterized by chronic cortisol elevation and systemic tension. Mindful exercise works by gently shifting the metabolic state from 'survival' to 'synergy,' utilizing movement as a bridge to recalibrate the endocrine response. By prioritizing step-by-step exercise progression muscles function as well as a bodily organ and effectively burns through blood sugar. This physiological shift supports the MindfulTemperance philosophy: that health is a balanced state of being, where movement serves to facilitate and makes metabolic maintenance much more tangible.Â
EXERCISE PROGRESSION
STEP #1:
Strengthen Neuro-Muscular Connection and address Muscular Assymetries/Imbalances

STEP #2:
Strength Optimization through outcome measures (sets/reps; weight; duration; etc)

STEP #3:
Prioritize Exercises that are consistent with lifestyle (At-Home; Recreational; Work Activities)
MUSCLES ARE KEY PLAYER IN
THE MAINTENANCE SUCCESS STORY
These Pages are not personalized or prescribed exercises and are intended only for educational purposes and at a coach or medical professional's reference only. I always recommend consulting/seeking wise counsel (an expert/professional opinion) before starting an exercise program. As always if an exercise is painful or existing pain increases with exercise always consult a medical professional before continuing to exercise. Generally, the pain threshold should not exceed an oral pain scale of "5" out of "10" with "0" being "No pain" and "10" being "Worst Pain Imaginable" in most cases.Â
