What we collect

1. Information you give us directly

○ Newsletter signup: name, email

○ Contact form or direct email: name, email, message

○ Story submissions: name, photo, city, health journey details, and any contact info you choose to share publicly (only with your written consent)

○ Affiliate onboarding: when you join a partner tool through our link and request my personal support, we receive your name, phone contact, and email from the partner so I can send the welcome guide and check-ins

2. Health-related information you choose to share

If you submit a story or ask for support, you may share details about fasting practices, symptoms, exercise, or wellness goals. Washington law treats this as consumer health data. We only collect it with your clear consent, and we never sell it.

3. Information collected automatically

○ Cookies and similar tech for site analytics, remembering preferences, and affiliate link attribution

○ Device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, time on page

How we use it

• Run the site and send the content you request

• Provide the personal onboarding I promise with affiliate links (welcome email, Semi-Weekly Check-Ins)

• Publish stories you approve, with only the contact details you allow

• Improve content and fix accessibility issues

• Comply with legal obligations

• Send occasional updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

We do not use your health details to profile you for advertising.

Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links. If you click and sign up, the partner may share your name and email with us so we can deliver the support described on the Getting Started page. We receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not share your health story details with affiliates.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data only with:

• Service providers: email platform, website host, analytics (under contracts that limit their use)

• Affiliate partners: only to confirm your signup for support delivery

• Legal authorities if required by law

Stories are published publicly only after you sign a consent form specifying exactly what name, photo, city, and contact method may appear.

We use essential cookies for site function, and analytics cookies to understand which guides help most. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Affiliate links may set a cookie to credit the referral.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data

• Withdraw consent for your story or health details at any time

• Opt out of marketing emails

• Opt out of data sharing for targeted advertising (we don't do this, but you can still request)

• For Washington residents: request to know what health data we hold and ask us to delete it

Data retention

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe

• Contact messages: 2 years

• Story content: until you withdraw consent, then we remove it from public view within 15 days

• Affiliate support records: 1 year after your last check-in

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no site is 100% secure. Do not send sensitive medical records via the contact form.

Children

This site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will post updates here and change the date at the top. For material changes to health data use, we will ask for new consent.
